All-Dielectric Structural Colors with Lithium Niobate Nanodisk Metasurface Resonators

Lithium niobate (LN) is a promising optical material, its micro–nano structures have been applied to fields such as photonic crystals, nonlinear optics, waveguides, and so on. At present, lithium structural colors are rarely studied. Although the nanograting structure was researched, it has large full width at half-maximum (fwhm) that cannot achieve red, green, or blue pixels other high-saturation colors, thus, color printing quality poor. In this paper, we design simulate nanodisk metasurface resonators (LNNDMRs), which based on Mie magnetic dipole (MD) electric (ED) resonances. addition, yield very narrow reflection peaks high efficiencies with over 80%, especially of fwhm around 11 nm, 9 6 respectively. Moreover, output different array cells composed single in finite size displayed, provides theoretical basis for their practical applications. Therefore, LNNDMRs pave way high-efficiency, compact display devices niobate.
